As you probably know part of our team is working on creating super flexible flash CMS(I wrote about it about couple of month ago, the name of the project is fancycms). So we have created tons of cool flash components, part of them will be distributed apart from the CMS as a stand alone flash apps. Monday, November 16th, 2009Hey everyone, hope all you guys are doing great Probably many of you remember that we promised to create nice and easy to use shopping cart for flash websites. We were planning to start the development in August, but due to some difficulties with another project( or I would rather say adding new features to FancyFlash project 
) we stopped all works on flash ecommerce component and were able to relaunch the development in October only. And we have really good news – it’s almost finished!
So what exactly flash ecommerce is and how to use it? Our flash shopping cart component is XML managed, easy customizable and user friendly flash component that can be integrated in any existing flash or HTML/CSS website. It can function as a part of your website and also as a standalone flash application.
XML structure of ecommerce flash component allows you to create the list of the products in your shop(export, import, add, edit,delete). You can also play with the colors to give your shopping cart general look and feel of your website. As we provide all source files the customer will have full access to all aspect of the ecommerce component. We hope that this nice tool will help the process of selling on-line much easier for many webmasters. New components with extra functionality added.
Monday, July 27th, 2009We have never expected that our 3 templates with a standard components set can generate so many messages, and that’s really good. We got tons of fresh ideas and some of them will be releazed soon.
So the 1st one which I especially like is a “bookmark panel component“. This tool allows to bookmark your site to social networks like digg, technorati and so on. I think we will call it “socializer” or “make me social”.
The next idea is event planner flash component, it’s really easy to create it and I believe many of our users will find it useful.
Another cool facility for advertising is accordion image viewer component. It is supposed to be a handy tool for online presentations, sort of a substitution of the flash intros.
Yeah, speaking the devil… the intro! Another add on is interactive flash animated background(as you know you can use swf file as a background of the website). So this background will allow the customer to make a rotation of images and slogans on the back ground of the website. This will always help to promote your brand, or may be put some light on products and services you offer to your customers.
I guess it will be useful and fun. Hope you like these tools. Btw all our old media galleries components will be revised and redesigned as well. And of course all previous and next components are absolutely compatible with the xml site builder engine. Got questions? Drop me a line! Cheers!
XML Based flash site builder, or whatever you may call it.
Saturday, May 30th, 2009Ok, so finally we have almost finished testing of one of our best products . This is what people usually call a site builder, it allows the customer to create scalable flash sites using a set of flash components(or fash modules) providing different types of content. Basic version includes 8 core components:
- text page component(allows to create 1 block text page containing HTML formatted text and images)
dynamic text page flash componet
- news page component(give the site owner an opportunity to run a newsletter, subscription feature is not available yet but we are planning to add it in the next versions in a couple of months maybe)
dynamic news flash component
- contact form component(your visitors can always contact you if you choose to )

-slide show component(this tool can be really useful if you want to make a presentation of some product or show your best photos for example)

- staff page component(you can proudly present the staff of your company and organize it into departments)
- audio gallery component(created mostly for musicians, allows to organize mp3 tracks into the albums and add description or history of every track. For example who inspired you to create this song )

- video gallery component(your own youtube at your site 
, share your videos easily.)
- photo gallery component(of course it was created mostly for photographers, but anyone can publish his photos and organize them into categories, autoplay and autoresize mods available)

And that’s not all, we are also planning to launch shopping cart component and calendar/planner component so far. As these things are less vital for the majority of web masters they will be supplied separately from the package.
Btw, very important thing is that any component can be used as a part of the website and as a standalone version. Which means that if you have a website that lacks photo gallery only, you can buy one required component, but not a bunch of stuff you don’t need.
